    thiago may have …
thiago may have been losing on points but really did you see the difference between his striking and matts. he was very confident he would win

    good video. i am …
good video. i am pretty sure Alvez didnt make weight for this fight. you’re right, he looked like a beast in this fight. i do think GSP will take his to school when they fight. and if Alvez decides to go up to 185, Anderson will murder him.

  3. LateKnight347 Says:

    they where fighting …
they where fighting at middle weight that fight

  4. DKnightJCL Says:

    i completely agree …
i completely agree with everything you said, very good video, keep em coming

He got him down but …
He got him down but was able to do absolute zero damage. It was all he could do to keep position. There was nothing overly impressive about Matt Hughes in that round and in the second round he got killed. He had a great run, but it’s over now.

  6. MasterChiefsSon Says:

    yea Alves was big …
yea Alves was big in that fight but I know some people who know some people who spared with some people who said the whole top team is on the juice

  7. humbleking718 Says:

    Hughes is a well …
Hughes is a well rounded fighter hes just too experienced to go learn the new tricks these younger fighters have in their arsenal for mma

  8. humbleking718 Says:

    what are you saying …
what are you saying? Matt Hughes was controlling Thiago in round one,in round two thiago made adjusments but he still was on his back.So what fight did you watch?

  9. benb6725 Says:

    matt hughes was …
matt hughes was forced to standup due to thiagos great takedown defense. matt couldnt keep him down, just like gsp. hughes is just like tito ortiz, not well-rounded enough for these present day athletes. just ground and pound wrestlers. the fighters just weren’t that good when matt was champ.

  10. benb6725 Says:

    these present day …
these present day fighters are too well-rounded. they are exceptional standup fighters with the wrestling to keep you on your feet. gsp, anderson silva, chuck liddell. no disrespect to matt hughes cause he’s a stud.

  11. humbleking718 Says:

    I agree with you!
    I agree with you!

  12. nunnker Says:

    really good video- …
really good video- I think tht if Matt Hughes fights Matt Serra- win or lose- he should retire afterwards because although he is the most dominant UFC welterweight champion of all time and a UFC legend and tht will not change- if he loses 2 Serra he should not fight because tht will show how washed up he is and it will hurt his legacy big time- 3 in a row!! If he wins he should retire as well on a good note and solidify his legacy!!

  13. humbleking718 Says:

    I think they should …
I think they should do more than just pay cuts they should suspend them but they have to tighten down on things as far as substances go! Its a messy situation!

  14. humbleking718 Says:

    I’ll do Dan …
I’ll do Dan Henderson vs Anderson Silva but im not gonna do Insight videos on just fighters ots fights for me now! Check out next weeks insight video!

  15. mmafanzshow Says:

    yea I (Dave) an a …
yea I (Dave) an a fan of Alves but even I was like dang thats a big dude. maybe they should check him again for banned substances…maybe he should go to middle weight. what do u think about rougher penalties for not making weight besides a pay cut?

  16. humbleking718 Says:

it might be but hes …
it might be but hes not unbeatable either no fighter is, so im not too sure about jumping the gun on that! Hughes is not passed his prime hes just going thru a slump right now thats all.

  17. MMAwizard Says:

    good vid bro and …
good vid bro and I’m interested in hearing about anthony johnson. You should do an mma insight on Dan henderson!

  18. Euphoria2g Says:

    Hughes is a great …
Hughes is a great fighter but do you think he is passed his prime?
I think Anderson Silva’s championship run will be larger than Matt Hughes.

  19. humbleking718 Says:

    he didnt but Hughes …
he didnt but Hughes didnt get KO’d by bums he KO’d by top fighters in the Weter weight division. If he lost to Kyle Bradley or Jess Liaudin then people would say Hughes is a bum, so dont consider him washed out. Hes loder yes but hes still a tough fight for anyone who fights,he brings out the best in these younger fightr.GSP looked better than ever in UFC 79 than 65 and 50.Thiago looked sharper with his defense against wrestlers.

  20. EBWChamp18 Says:

    You can’t say that …
You can’t say that Hughes got caught at all these times. He’s not gonna beat guys like Fitch, Shields, Koscheck, or Sanchez. He can still get some wins but it’s not going to be against guys younger, faster, and more well rounded then he is. He’s not washed up completely but I don’t think he can be competitive in the UFC welterweight division when it is dominated by the guys in it now.

  21. themiz2003k Says:

    most guys who cut …
most guys who cut walk into the ring between 7-15 lbs higher than the weight they weighed in at. Rich Franklin walks into the ring sometimes at 215 lbs. And that is straight from his mouth. Water weight comes back to you quickly when you replace it. Jon fitch has 9 wins in a row, or something, right?
